CUTTING PROCESS
Logs have different process of cutting, such as live sawn, plain sawn, quarter sawn or rift sawn. The environmental feasibility of saw milling depends on the expected volume and value of sawn planks. With the Live sawn milling process, we get the most efficient of each lumber because is cut in one direction without changing the orientation of the log, this method produces boards with a full range of angles of the log’s rings that has the popular cathedral look on the surface while producing the least amount of waste and giving maximum yield compared to most commonly known sawing process. This method is more earth conscious and environmentally sustainable.
